WP3. Ethnographic process evaluation of factors influencing implementation, adoption, spread, and scale up of digital post hospital discharge services

The core of the project will be conducted at the 18-24 month stage, ethnographies of post hospital discharge service provision with our partner local authority and integrated care boards. The ethnography will involve observations of a range of care service activities, including referrals and assessments for services, installation, ongoing care and removal of services, and ongoing service development and management activities in each providing service. Observations will be complemented with interviews with social care clients and their carers. This WP will explore factors influencing long term development and delivery of activities over time, changes in service models and provision, introduction of new  technologies, and changes to outcomes for clients and their families. The evaluation in this stage of the project will use the Non-Adoption, Abandonment, Scale up, Spread and Sustainability (NASSS) framework and NASSS-Complexity Assessment Toolkit as the main data collection and analysis tools.
